hp psc 1100/1200 series all in one

I can't seem to install my printer. The error message states that something may be wrong with memory storage or USB connection. I deleted much stored memory, but I can't seem to locate how I can check the USB port:4-dontkno

Does any Usb devices work when plugged into this port?
By memory storage do you mean free space on your Hardrive?
