HP2600 AIO
Mac OS10.4

All worked well until I had to take computer to Apple Store and have hard drive reinstalled

Printer would print, but not scan - indicated no software for scanning

I went to wifi spot (I am on dialup at home) and did a 2.5 hr download of drivers for printer

Installed those on computer

HP still says it can't scan - no software.

It seems (to me) that the printer is the problem - but I am dumber than a sack of hammers when it comes to such as this.

Any ideas from anyone??

Do u have any of the software that came with the printer? If you don't the you can go to the driver download page, and get them there.

Thanks, wmorri, I did that - and thought it didn't "take" - however just today, I find it is working!!!!! Problem solved!!!
