HP Pavilion dv7-3162nr Touch Bar not working

have you tried a restore point before you had problems with it? do you have any yellow marks next to anything in device manager?

i thought about doing this but had hopes it is a simple hardware issue, i.e. F"key". if no other recommendations pop up that make sense, i will try that, thanks.

could you explain what you are calling touch bar?

hey i have a DV7-1285dx and experiance the same problem. its not hardware driver problem...its the accual hardware...this is due to heat...the heat will toast the inside part (the laptop gets hot or the lights on the touch pad have been on for so long its heated that band and caused a problem...mines does this but when i move the touch bar by pulling on it it works but then it will mess up again...wifi will press it self turning off and on my wifi conection. volume goes up and down...i would suggest getting a new touch bar panel..
