i have a hp p3015 inkjet printer and need to change the lpi settings i need to print 85 lpi so i can sent it to press. i can not get it to change no matter what ive tried i going from indesign and then to my pring menu changing the lpi there and it still prints at 150lpi it will let me change my lpi on my old printer and it changes the dot structure like i want it to just won't do it on the new one. PLEASE HELP! dont know if you will need to know any of this or not but im running Win XP sp3 with Adobe CS3 on it thanks in advance for you help.

I assume "lpi" is lines per inch? In any case, after checking numerous printers here, none of them had a lpi setting. The basic setting for printers is dpi. In any case, it is a function of the printer drivers.

Thank you for the responce thats all i could find was dpi not the lpi but none the less i was told when i bought it that this printer would print at 72 dpi however im unable to make it do so. So do i need a diffrent driver than the one that was installed when i bought it?
