Hi I hope somebody can shed some light on a problem I have, I got a hp nx6110 and basically no lights come on I plug a charger in and the green lightning flashes but that's it. I have tried removing ram and harddrive to no avail please can somebody help or is it to the junk heap for it. Thankyou

This is a more and more common failure on the nx/nc series.

If you remove the CMOS battery cell for 15 minutes and the issue is not resolved, then it is the systemboard.
