The cd/dvd drive starts up normally enough, but after running just a few seconds, makes a buzzing sound (as if it were a truck downshifting) then stops. The problem is independent of the type of media; this happens for any disk I put in the drive. The case is partially opened and keyboard removed following instructions posted for another person who needed help replacing his hard drive.
