At this point there is no way to know if you have a computer problem or a monitor problem. First step, ensure the monitor has power, ensure it is turned on, and that the video cable is securely attached to the monitor and the PC. Is there a power light on the monitor, and if so, is it lit?

Next, try a different monitor, If that works then try your "broken" monitor on another computer.
