Two messages appear on my HP ZE4530us laptop after retreiving it from the trunk of my car or it is stored in a warm room. "media failure test. Check cable" and "no OS found". After it has a chance to cool down inside, then it boots up just fine. Would this be normal or should I be looking at buying a new hard drive maybe?

temps in cars can get pretty high compared to out side temp,if you have to keep it in there,try putting it in one of those cheap foam coolers and see if it makes a difference before going to the expense of a new h/d
