Good Morning All, I have a HP 15-F162DX Laptop and I have been having problems with this computer. A few months a go I was on an ambulance call and my laptop was in my back pack and when we got back to base my laptop fell out of my bag and the screen got a nice big crack in it. Thankfully I was still able to use the computer the screen was still in working condition however the touchscreen no longer worked so I had to disable it. You can notice the crack when the computer is off but otherwise it seems like the computer works ok. I tried finding repair shops to replace my screen none of them would do it. I tried contacing HP as the computer was protected under warranty and accidental damage and the representative was very rude and said he did not have time to complete my request. Anyway I am not here to complain. Latley I have been having problems with my computer Zooming in and Out when I am browsing the web on google chrome, internet explorer and fire fox. I have tried to install zoom lock and it does not work. I have determined it happens from when I type and when I use the touch pad. I disabled the touch pad and I am using an external usb mouse and it has not been hapining with the external mouse. However when I hook up the computer to a USB Keyboard it still does it. Latley it has also started opening new tabs as I am typing a message. It will even close the browser when I am typing. I am at a loss with what to do I have tried many support forms, many google searches, taking it to best buy and nothing seems to work. I am about ready to throw this computer off my roof and by an ASUS and never use an HP Product again. I have had nothing but problems with HP Products. When I am typing in text boxes or in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Email it zooms in and out on the text, it starts to underline text and it also starts to bold it and I am very frustruated. It even opens the file explorer saying choose a document you wish to open when I am typing, It opens up the start menu, Command prompt. I am so fed up and I need this computer to work. It has very important documents (Backed Up On External Drive). When I am tying sometimes it even higlights the text and deletes it. (Thank god for CRTL+Z). At this point any help is appreciatied. I have tried browsing in incognito mode on google and it still does it. Thank you in advance for any help. If I can not figure out a soultion I will be throwing this computer out and buying a diffrent one.
