Hi.

I'm running WinXP on a Hewlett-Packard Pavillion zd7000 notebook. My machine has a GeForce FX Go5200, a card that actually isn't supported by NVidia at all. As a result, I have to download a software update package from HP for the drivers I need.

Not that it matters, since I've been trying to update the drivers for this card for over a year now and never with any success. I do the little song-and-dance, install goes swimmingly, reboot, run DxDiag and it reports that my drivers are the same ones I had before, and have not been updated since 2003.

It's really infuriating. Does anyone have any ideas? My graphics card isn't performing anywhere near where it should be because of this.
