Today's laptop produce a considerable amount of heat.

Make sure you are using the laptop on a hard,flat surface.

You wish to invest in a cooling pad to run the laptop on.

Don't forget you may qualify for store return policy if unit is just couple of days old, especially if unit is having problems out of the box ...
