I replaced a new motherboard and also changed with a new CPU for my HP DV4 and I still get the blinking codes ( blinks 1 time every 3 seconds) and the screen is black and won't boot. What should the problem be? I need help ASAP its a friends laptop and I need to solve this problem please. Thanks

Post the complete model number from the sticker on the bottom.
What CPU did you replace it with
Post the motherboard model number and possibly a link that you purchased.
Check all that the CPU is seated properly.
