I need some advices on how to do this. Can anyone please kindly give their time for me thanks so much..

1. all you have to do is to backup any files you cannot afford to lose, make sure you have serial numbers and keys for any programs you have installed.
2. place the winxp upgrade into your cd drive
3. boot
4. press any key
5. follow the on screen instructions.

remember there will be times where the screen looks like its frozen, do not do anything but wait. Its working.

um im thinking of something. i have this copy of windows xp and its drivers and stuff.could i use that? ..I think the xp pro is not legitimate..btw the computer is Dandie with dell monitors and harddrives..it has a cd that came with it ..cherry is the name and its for the drivers and stuff...and it has only 128 mb of ram..what sud i do? sud i install xp?

you need a legal version of xp for us to give any more help. You cannot use oem from another computer, you can use an upgrade version or a full retail version of xp as long as they are not installed on another computer or being used for justification to upgrade to vista.
