Hi again.
Does anyone knows how to set my Raptor 74Gb to UDMA6 on a Asus p4c800e-deluxe mobo?Which plug to use to connect it on the mobo and anything else special to do?Now it s at UDMA5 and there is no UDMA6 option in BIOS.Now it s connected on the SATA1 connector.

Thanx a lot! :4-dontkno

check to see if there is a bios update to cover it
If I remember correctly you will have to flash your bios all the way back to 1011 to get back the UDAM6 option, for some reason after that bios revision Asus decided to drop the UDMA6 option. I really don't think you will see any performace gain going from UDMA5 to UDMA6, but reverting to such an old bios could cause issues.
hm...with one year trying to fix that mobo to work propely, 3 usb ports burnt out and tenths of stability problems i think the time has come to throw it to the garbage and buy a Gigabyte.....

thanx for your replies...

and imagine that this is a replacement mobo....of the previous one that was completely messed up...
