Hi all ,

I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, Microsoft Window XP Professional service pack 2.

I am using outlook express as a monitoring tool which sends email at the scheduled time lets say every after 6 hours.Presently It is using only one account under one profile but the problem with the existing behavior is that if by any chance that primary email account get disconnected from the exchange server it will not be able to send the email.

So in order to overcome this problem i have created one more email account that belongs to different exchange server under the same existing profile .what i m trying to achieve is ....if the primary email account is disconnected from the server at any time period .The outlook should use the secondary email account to send out the emails.how can i achieve this functionality ....Do we have any option in outlook to implement this ...please help .

I have been breaking my head like anything but could not find any useful results.Any help would be appreciated.:(

Thanks in advance

I havent used outlook 2007 but I used 2003 and I dont think you can get it to switch automatically if one account goes down. I think you will have to do that manually.
Thanks for your reply .u mean to say only programatically i can achieve this ?.

its only a guess since I havent used 2007 but to switch to another account to send the automatic email you will have to switch to that account by manually doing it or creating a script to do it and I am no script writer either.
