Hi,

I just wanted to know how I can reformat my laptop to remove any viruses or malware. Is a reinstallation of windows considered a reformat? Will a recovery disk do the job or do I need a windows disk?

You will need your Windows 7 CD to do a full restore. It would have came with your laptop.

You most likely don't need to format though. Our security team can get the virus off of your computer without the need to format.
