we are facing problem ijn lynux RHEL 5 WS , WHILE READING DATA ON SERIAL PORT (/dev/ttyS0) , there is intermittence some times it works and some time it will show -1 bytes read and 1 byte read , we are noit able to solve this problem kindly help us

Can you describe what you're doing? How are you trying to read data from the serial port? How did you configure the port? What does the attached device use for settings?
