well im having trouble viewing a site and someone told me to ping my routor or something and i have no clue how to do it

im using windows vista home basic

I have a Siemens Gigaset SE567 And my isp is aliant

How would i ping it to be able to view the site.

Ive been talking to people on the website http://ncix.com

And they can view and add stuff to there cart but whenever i go add to shopping cart secure.ncix.com comes up and it says 400 bad request

How do i fix this

Do you have firewall or proxy server settings into you network?

You need to open the command prompt (start > run > cmd) and type
ping ncix.com

if you get replies then you did it successfully. Although since you can view the website just can get to your shopping cart, i don't think this is going to help you

Try using a different web browser, like Mozilla Firefox. It could be an issue with Internet Explorer. Also, try deleting temporary files. Open Internet Explorer, Tools>Internet Options>Clear temporary Files

also, go to Start>Run and type in %temp% and delete any files and folders in that folder.

It's not a case of pinging your router.
I noticed a thread on another forum yesterday about the same problem. One of the posters recommended this thread on ncix's forum :
