Right-click My Computer>Properties, then click the Tab Computer Name.

Open the start menu,Choose Run. Type in regedit and hit your enter key. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and click the plus sign to expand the tree in this order: \Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version. Then click on the Current Version Folder. In the right pane locate the Registered Owner entry and double click it. In the Value Data box of the Edit String dialog box, change the name and click OK.
