How to configure the Dual Channel Memory on P4C800

Hi,
I'd like to know if to add a P4C800 Deluxe to the PC is more difficult than another easier motherboard.
For example how to use Dual Channel Memory?
Is it necessary to go inside the bios?
Is it difficult?
It is a new card, will any technician be able?
Thanks Ulisse

To use "Dual Channel" you need 2 of the same memory like: Two 512MB DDR Memory. It does not matter what size is the memory, you just need to of the same kind. And thats how you use dual channel:D
But I need also to go inside BIOS?
Thanks Ulisse

I don't know if you need to go in to the BIOS, but if you do need to go into the BIOS. Soon has you boot hit the "Delete" botton then a Blue/Gray screen will pop up. On the top it should say "Award BIOS" or some thing like that. Just look for an option that says "Daul Channel" or some thing like that. If there is an option then you should "Enable" it. But if there is no option, then that means you don't need to go into the BIOS. Dual Channel works when you have the same size memory on its own.......
na, no option. no need for bios unless you want to over clock your ram to make it faster. once you put 2 sticks of the same ram in there it auto does dual ddr 400
