I have configured the routing and remote access service in the Windows 2003 server to give access to all of its local client computers access to the Internet. The task now is how do I configure this service so that from the Internet, I can connect directly to a certain computer that has a local IP address in the LAN network. There is a routing table in the remote access service that I can configure to give me access to certain local ip address...but I'm not sure I know how to perform the step by step process. Any help is much appreciated.

Try out some remote access products like RemotePC. You can directly access a particular computer by its name. Further the product is friendly as you don’t have to worry about proxy or IP issues.

If I remember correctly from setting that up on Windows 2000 server there is a port forward feature in Routing and Remote access. I am positive I did this very setup on Windows 2000 a couple of years back.
