I will third this opinion. SB S&D is not effective in modern computers, and it should be uninstalled.
Malwarebytes Free using Manual scan is a good secondary Malware removal to compliment Windows Security (Defender) do not pay for Real Time Protection and let the Free Windows Security (Defender) take care of that.

By default, Malwarebytes installs a 14 day Trial version, if you didn't uncheck the box when you installed it.
Open MBAM and go to the Cog in the Upper Right tool bar (Settings) go to the Account tab. Click the Deactivate Premium Trial button.

When you Disable the Trial version of Malwarebytes, you then have the Free version and you have to Manually start it and run it. So, you would run it after you think you may be infected. This works really well. After you start it, it will reside in your Taskbar by the clock as an app that is running in the background and will protect you from any incoming malware until you restart or shut off your machine, then you have to manually start it again.
