Not sure about the brands, but really? That's all? How sad, I put over $1000 into it over the years 
Yep, really. You can make a reasonable estimate yourself. Look on sites such as Newegg or Tiger Direct for prices of comparable components to yours. The most you should hope for is 50 - 60 % of the new price.
The case should have a Brand Name printed on it. If it does not it's probably very low quality.
