How do I remove CWS.Feads

According to Yahoo Spyware scan I am infected with CWS.feads. I believe I have downloaded everything that this website suggested. All of the scans shows that I am not infected except for Sbc/Yahoo Anti-Spyware. Please help. I don't know what to do. I will send a HJT log. Thanks in advance.

Hi
Does your scan give you a path to the infection?.I cant see anything that points to it in your log. Run at least one of the following free, online virus scans and see what that picks up:

Housecall
PandaSoft
eTrust Antivirus

Thank You for replying so fast. I ran House Call and E-Trust and they both showed no viruses. I ran SBC Yahoo! Anti-Spy again and it showed that I have CWS.Feads. It said it is located in
hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\enum\root\legacy_*00bdo.#*017e*201e*0081*00f5*008*00c2*00b4*001e*00e2

I'm not sure why it only shows up on the Yahoo scan but I do know that I didn't have CWS.Feads 2-3 weeks ago. I can say that I noticed that my computer's performance is slower than usual. Hope this helps.

You will have to go into the registry and delete this key :\legacy_*00bdo.#*017e*201e*0081*00f5*008*00c2*0 0b4*001e*00e2

Dont forget to first backup your registry before you attempt this.

Pancake, I tried to delete the value from the registry but it won't let me. What should I do?

Im really begining to think it should be left. It is of no threat and is not a virus.If online scans cant find it then Im thinking that Yahoo is seeing a false postitive or this is a leftover from one that has been cleaned out at some other date..
If you feel game you can try and look for these files but there are a lot to go through.....

Thanks for all of your help, Pancake. I have decided that I am going to leave it. As you said it apparently is doing no harm. Plus, I have no idea how to manually remove these values that you sent or where to find them. Again, thanks so much for your help.
