I want to just see all my files in a folder at once, but grouped alphabetically or by date. There's this annoying display that separates files with lines under dates, having one date just called saved "a long time ago". How do I get rid of this format?

open File (Windows) Explorer to the file in question. Go to the Quick Access toolbar, click on View. Go to Group By.. and select (none) Browse the other the various views by Icon size, List, Details or Content. Find which view setting best works for you. Disable the folder grouping in Windows 8, 8.1 / 10 (remove, turn off)?
