How do I get back disk space that Acronis True Image reserved.

I gave Acronis True Image Home version a free trial. After I decided it was not something I wanted I did a add/remove of the program.
My hard drive is 144 gbs. Acronis put some stuff in a reserved area that is not accessable to me and my HD shows 84gbs total.

How can I get that space back to use? I made an assumption that using add/remove would put things back like they were. Obviously I was wrong.

Would downloading the free trial version again allow me to get at that space? Or is there a simpler way.
Thanks

You should be able to reverse the secure zone settings by using the trial version of the program.

Have you looked in your Disk Management console to see if you're able to delete the reserved partition there? This would only solve part of the problem as you will then need another program to merge or resize the free space into your existing partition.

I'd probably go with the first option as Acronis should do all the hard work for you with a few clicks
Acronis have another program called Disk Director which should be able to resolve the problem for you.
