How do I get back disk space that Acronis True Image reserved.

I gave Acronis True Image Home version a free trial. After I decided it was not something I wanted I did a add/remove of the program.
My hard drive is 144 gbs. Acronis put some stuff in a reserved area that is not accessable to me and my HD shows 84gbs total.

How can I get that space back to use? I made an assumption that using add/remove would put things back like they were. Obviously I was wrong.

Would downloading the free trial version again allow me to get at that space? Or is there a simpler way.
Thanks

Thanks so much for your reply to my problem. I did reinstall Acronis thinking I could get at that hidden partition it reserves. But it will not recognize that partition (greyed out). And I am afraid if I let Acronis backup again it will create another partition. I will think about this in trying to decide what to do. But I certainly appreciate your help. Amazing the problems we can create for ourselves. And so easily, too.
Thank you nickster_uk. I will look for that. And I will post back what I find.
That Acronis Disk Director Suite is quite a good program. Thank you for mentioning it to me. I was able to restore that partition. I am not sure I have done all that I can. But after I got through it shows that zone (partition) like it was a separate drive (when I look at My Computer). I was able to put the free space from that partition back into my normal partition. I have not yet found out how to delete that partition (shows as drive J). But at least I am on the trail of figuring it out. Thanks so much nickster_uk
Finally I got it. I was able to delete the information from that partition. Then after it was clear I was able to increase the size of my main partition. And that moved all the space back into my normal partion. All is ok now. Thanks so much. By the way that is a great program you mentioned.
