[dontunderstand]

I am new to building computers, and I just built a new one. It is a epox motherboard which will support raid, and has the chipset to support p4 processors. well I got the system runing, then my dad put win 98 on it. he loaded it as a fat16. i switched this to fat32, and it only wanted to read 2gig of the hard drive. I have a 100gig harddrive. I tried fdisk, and then reloaded it, and all I can get windows to recognize is 1.99gig. and Dos I can only recognize like 33gig of the drive. My question is, how do I get windows 98 se to read the entier drive, I had large drive support enabled.

:no: Well i tried the fdisk with your instructions. What does "volume label" mean? I tried typing the volume of the hard drive and got invalid, so i tried leaving it blank and it seemed to proceed.

then when I went to type in formatc:/s, it came up with bad request.
I tried different ways of typeing it in with spaces and such. I even went to c:/ and typed it in. I tried to run format.exe and it did no good either. so IM lost as to what I need to do at this point.
