I tried to folow some tutorial which said i should take ownership but it didnt work.

i still get the message that i am not able to write to the files since they were created by the old user.

You will have to take "Ownership" of those files. The link you provided is a bad example because the illustration shows taking ownership of key windows system files which is not the same as taking ownership of a personal file like a document. The tutorial is bad. Taking ownership of Windows system files and folders can cause a lot of problems letting harmful things happen. That example on that webpage shouldn't be published.
