Ok, I got a tricky problem here. I had a 120GD hard drive with 95GB of .wav files on it. There is no OS on this drive-I use it to just store audio.

The other day I mistakened half of the .wavs to be corrrupted by partition magic (changed cluster size), and through half of them away. It was a big mistake! Anyways, I would like to get as many of these files back as possible. The problem is I can't access the recycle bin for this drive. BUT I know the files are still there b/c I can see all the files in the Nero Burning Rom explorer. And all the files appear to work! Also, partition magic says I still have 95GB
on the drive (go figure).

Anyways, is there a way I can access this drive's recycle bin to "restore" these files? Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

When you delete a file, it doesn't really delete it. It just makes the area the file is in eligible to be overwritten. Therefore, to undelete, you need to access a table, if it's a FAT drive, it's the File Allocation Table.

There are A LOT of undelete utilities you can download or you can buy something like Disk Doctor, Norton Utilities, etc.
