How Can I Run PowerPoint Vista on XP?

1212 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  TexasBandit
I have a presentation developed in PowerPoint for Windows Vista. My PC is running XP SP2. When I try to view it, I receive a message that no program is associated. Is there a "compatibility" fix so I can view this on XP?

XP and Vista have nothing to do with Power Point I suspect you have a older version of Power Point like from office 2000 or 2003 there are viewers available from MS for PPT 2007> http://microsoft-powerpoint-viewer.en.softonic.com/
Then why is it called PowerPoint for Windows Vista? There are apparent differences between my version of PowerPoint and the one that runs on Vista. Thanks for links ... I'll give them a try.
It's powerpoint 2007 packaged to entice Vista buyers to upgrade it runs on windows me, 2000, XP and win7. Office 2010 just came out I suspect we'll see powerpoint for win7 shortly Bill G needs the money:)
I tried downloading the "compatibility" version of PowerPoint 2007, but it did not work. Go Bill Boy!
