when im playing gears 2 or any other xboxlive game a warning message comes up and says something like, stirct firewall may not be able to connect. And i can only play threw invite it nevers works by myself please how cna i fix this problem.

sorry don't have time to post a detailed reply to this tonight, but this might be as simple as setting up the DMZ on your router. If your router is newish then it will probably have detailed help on what settings are needed on the config page.
