Ok here is the question.

I have all updates and service packs on the company network. I want all workstations to automaticly update trough the network so not using the companies internet connection.

I prefere NOT to walk to any workstation if possible

any suggestions (same thing with office 2000)

our company network uses windows 2000 server all workstations are windows 2000

Your in luck. MS has it's own free patching services you can use to deploy patches. Unfortunately the w2k ver. dosen't do sp's, but supposedly a new version for 2003 is slated to do so.

I know about sus and we are probalby going to use ite here. But i need to do the same thing with servicepacks. I know it possible. It has something to do with deploying software and managing software

There was a good article in Network Magazine covering some of the well known 3rd party patch managment software. Most are pretty expensive (Server plus per client) but we are looking at LANguard Network GFI Software. You can get unlimited clients and it takes care of SP's, Patch's and has some other usefull features.
