i have getting a blue screen error which refers to a 0xd1 stop error .
this bsod is related to portcls.sys.
i am using xp sp2.
can i get any Microsoft's hot fix for this error?
is updating to sp3 may fix this problem?

You should likely install SP3 anyway.

Aside from that, that file is audio related. Download and install the latest audio drivers for your motherboard/soundcard.
