I connect to the hotel's (Radisson) wireless internet without problems - icon in the clock tray show connected with a good 54 mbps connection but when I try to open internet explorer or Firefox, I get a server error.

Here is the important part... last week when I stayed at this hotel, once connected to the internet, I would get redirected to a http://redirect.ip3networks.com site for a second then to the Radisson home page and then from there, I was able to go on any web page I wanted. But now, that redirect page does not show up.

By the way, I bring 2 laptops with me, both Dell Latitude's. one is a 620 and the other a 630. and they both do the same.

They both connect to other wireless network connections at home and other hotels without a problem.

The Hotel says they have no other complaints and they reset the internet several times for me as well as call their internet provider... all with no luck.
They had me try a network cable but that didn't work either.

Its hard to say, if it was the hotel's issue, they wny are there no complaints unless they are not telling the truth or no one is making a complain

But to say it is your laptop is hard also as it can connect elsewhere. Perhaps there is an IP set of no that you will need to key in instead of using 'obtain an IP address automatically'

Either that, you can check with other guest using laptops whether they are having problems.
