I tried overclocking my GTX 750ti with Afterburner and did some stability tests with Kombustor. I noticed that every game I played lagged so I went back to reset the core clock and memory back to default. Even then when I go into games, they lag like crazy still (<10fps). Why is this? Everything is back to where it was before I started so I hope I didn't wreck anything. Any ideas? Help would be nice, I just want to get back to Fallout 4.

I have an image of the status when running kombustor here: http://i.imgur.com/4FahwQa.png
For some reason the GPU temp didn't go above about 31 degrees during stress tests when it was above 50 before I did all of this.

it could be that your card isn't good for OC and that messing with it has damaged it.

Sometimes messing with the core boost is a bad move which can destabalize it

Thanks for the replies, I had an idea that maybe I was thinking too hard and I decided to restart my computer. Restarting did the trick and everything is running just fine again!

The 700, 800 and 900 series cards already have the memory frequency close to the maximum the chips can handle. I'd advise you not to push the frequency beyond 50-100mhz. It will really shorten the life of those cards theres also very little to no performance gains in raising the memory frequency as even the most graphically demanding games will be bottle-necked by the GPU clock speed.
