I've set up the homegroup for two computers on my network, both running windows 7, but whenever I click "homegroup" in windows explorer it ALWAYS says "no other homegroup computers are currently available" even though both computers are turned on and connected to the network. Also, I've enabled sharing of printers and libraries on both computers.
This is a massive pain because I want to use a printer connected to the other computer.

Additionally, if there is another way to share a printer can you please tell me? Maybe it'd be easier.

do you have any 3rd party firewalls? if you do try turning them off for now. also did you try using the same log on information on both computers? goto network and sharing center and on left pane choose change advance sharing settings in thier turn off password protect sharing. see if any of this helps. do that on both computers
