Analyzing my toshiba trecra S2 laptop with the tool "Find information about the hardware installed on this computer" in tasks of the Windows "Help and Support", I've seen that my disk has a 2.97 Mb hidden partition. Is it a partition that contains all the restore information of the laptop?.

I suppose that if I want to restore the operating system (windows) and all toshiba drivers, I need to run the Hard Disk Drive Recovery utility (holding 0 while booting). Doing this the computer will extract Windows Operating System from that partition and all drivers?

Thanks

It's called a disc-to-disc recovery. Many modern computers and laptops have that in lieu of including an XP CD. I got lucky with my laptop in that it came with BOTH. Acer rocks.
