Hi,
I have a dell 8011, 2000 I had millin. but upgraded to XP. Evertything was fine for about a year, untill one day the computer would not start up. I would shut it off an reboot, but it would keep comming up and rebooting over and over. I hope its not dead. Can you help me? I have some former questions about problems I have had and you have fixed all of them for me.
Hope you can again. I am writing on a friends computer.
Thanks:1angel: I thought this was a nurse

There can be several possible reasons for this rebooting loop you are experiencing. It depends upon exactly when in the booting process this happens, and what, if any, error messages you see.

I would like to know if you are able to boot into safe mode ok. Press the F8 key repeatedly at bootup, and choose Safe Mode when prompted. Also please test Safe Mode with a Command Prompt.

One more option to try is Last Known Good Configuration. This option is found the same way.

The fix will depend upon the results.
