I want the games I have installed in my currrently hdd to the external one. Now, can I just move it all over there (click and drag the folders to the external)? Or do I need to install it to the external?
Depends upon the security that the software writer has invoked. If you just copied it and the files are on your main drive the program will probably start off on your external drive then flip over to the C: drive as soon as it starts because the program thinks that it should be there. It depends upon where the pointers are kept that keeps the program running.
Best thing to do would be to re-install BUT remember that an external drive usually runs a lot slower than an internal drive and may slow down your game.
