I hate to say this, but spyware is bad news, and usually requires a format and reinstall to make things run right again.

That said, you can attempt to reinstall drivers without formatting. This will mess with windows a little, and some settings might get lost. It also has the potential to mess with your registry ever so slightly.

The catch? Either way, you will likely have to reinstall software afterwards, so contact your software vendors and handle whatever you need for a reinstall first. Most vendors are pretty understanding especially if you had spyware problems.

Hello Cheriel and Brian. Welcome to TSF.

Cherial, you need to follow the 5 step process as outlined in the link below.
http://www.techsupportforum.com/sec...pdated-important-read-before-posting-log.html

After following those steps, post your Hijack this log in the Hijackthis forum and our security team will assist you in cleaning up your system and hopefully getting it back to normal.

Brian, TSF is an open forum and you are free to offer good advice to any problems other than those related to spyware, malware, etc. We ask that those problems be left to our trained security analysts. Please read http://www.techsupportforum.com/sec...g-help/93034-please-read-who-helping-you.html

Thank you for your understanding, and please enjoy your stay here at TSF.
