I've been working on a pc for one of our users that was completely infected with spyware and viruses...after multiple scans with multiple products...updates, etc, etc. I've got it down to two...but they are being stubborn...I've googled them found what everyone says will work...bought two different spyware removal tools "guaranteed" to remove them and they persist. I've read a couple of other threads on here with a similar problem with apropros but didn't see a solution. Each scan finds them says they remove them but if you view the log it says error removing. if you go into the registry and try to remove yoursitebar it gives you an error...i've done this in safe mode and not. I've created a bootable cd using PEBuilder and run adaware....still no luck...can anyone help? I can post any of the logs if they would be helpful.
