927 Views 11 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Blast
Okay, i have been searching and my brain hurts XD

I have an ATI Radeon XPress 1100 (i believe, i forgot how to check how to find what i am) and i have been trying to find the update for it. I would love if somebody could give me a link to the update page. (already on the xpress 1100 page)

I would also REALLY appreciate it if somebody could also link me to the AMD Athlon X2 64 update.

Hi,
ATI & AMD are partners now and you download drivers from the same site.......

Yeah, i am not in there which i don't get
Hi Blast, are you using a notebook/laptop or dektop PC?
The Radeon XPress 1100 is a Graphics Chipset.
And you don't update Processors, their capabilities are controlled by the BIOS, Chipset and Operating System.
Hi Blast,
If you download this free program, Everest, it will tell you everything you need to know about your computer. Post back with the name of your Graphics/Video adapter and we'll find an update.

Well, i know that i am ATI Radeon Xpress 1100.
I have and AMD Athlon X2 64 bit processor.
I found the update, but i click on the download and it says 403 error access denied.

Here are some resources for your Processor.....

With the 403 error.....
In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Browsing, clear the checkbox for Show friendly HTTP error messages.
Click OK.
Restart the Internet Explorer browser and try the download again.
I actually use Firefox, and it has worked before =/
Hi, just because you use Firefox, doesn't mean you can't also use Internet Explorer.
Try it, as the above download is the only one I could find with the proper drivers for the IGP Chipset.
Well, i got it :D Thanks. To make sure, there aren't updates for my processor right?
Hi, the only updates you'll get for the processor are utilities. Software that lets you see temps etc or control certain functions.
Or BIOS updates. But remember the Golden Rule......."If it isn't broke, don't fix it."
