Hi,

Can anyone help, I have a memory stick/thumb drive that has become corrupt, I was able to recover the files from it and virus scan says it has checked it all with no problems, however trying to access it / format it states that it is write protected.

I have tried it in another computer with the same results
I have tried disk management but cant access it
I have tried discpart, no errors on the drive and tried to clear read only, but still cant access the drive afterwards.

Anything else anyone can think of to restore / reformat the drive? I think it is a TKD 4 gig drive, it does not have a write protect switch and is a USB drive.
