Hi there...

I'm going to be upgrading the hdd in a D600 Latitude notebook, and just have a question--quite possibly an elementary one. When you upgrade hdds in laptops, must you have cloning software? Is it unadvisable or impossible to load a new hdd without first cloning it with the old one?

wats up man you can just buy a new hdd for your laptop put it in and load your os and your good to go if your trying to keep everything from your old drive you'll need to save it to disk or something then transfer to new hdd hope this helps
