havnt been here for a while!:dance:
anyways, after using my only free time looking for a good mod tool for dead island i kept coming across MsX and dead island-save editor V1.9. I downloaded the dead island save editor by Jappi88.
The problem is when i try to open the program it says:

"To run this application, you first must install one of the following
versions of the .NET Framework:
v4.0.30319
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the
appropriate version of the .NET Framework."

the questions are:
where can i safely get the update?
Is it good to update the framework? like...are there any cons?

Download is straight from MS: Download: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

.Net frameworks is a programming API many developers use to create their programs.

It is safe and used quite frequently.

Remember that after you make any edits to your save you may have to rehash/sign them before they will boot correctly.

REMEMBER: Always back up your SAVE!

Scrap that one use MxS Dead Island Editor v1.7 it lets you mod what you pick up on game the one you have only has preset inventory items. I modded ALL inventory items to 999999999 accept weapons where as I set that value to bullets you can change item color to all orange as well I have the 1 shot kill blueprint_3 which is almost impossible to obtain
