So...
In my house there are 3 computers on our network:

The Network:

Router: Linksys Wireless G Router (has 4 ethernet ports)
Model #: WRT54G2
computer #1 is hard wired to the router
computer #2 is Gateway G6-400 running on win98se...connected to network via 802.11g wireless pci card
computer #3 is Dell inspriron 530 running windows vista...has some sort of card with pluging box.....(dont have to worry about this computer anyway so it doesnt matter)

My computers:

1. Dell Dimension 8250
Os: Windows XP Home Edition service pack 3
Printer: Dell A940 connected by USB
This is hardwired by Ethernet to the Linksys Wireless G router

2. Gateway G6-400 (intell Pentium II processor....kinda old but works fine)
Os: Windows 98 Second Edition
Printer: HP Office Jet Series 500 connected by printer port to cpu
This has a 802.11g wireless PCI card.....

3. Dell Inspiron 530
Os: Windows Vista Business service pack 1
Printer: Dell V305
Wireless PCI Card....has a box antenna with a cable plug in to the card....

All 3 computers have internet
All 3 computers have file sharing

I want to be able to chose any printer in the house to print to from any computer.....I've enabled sharing printers but i don't know how to get the printers listed on the other computers.....

can anyone tell me what to do next?

thanks in advance -kevin, 13

You need to go to Start, Settings, Printers & Faxes. Use the Add Printer wizard and specify a network printer. Browse to the network printer and add it.

Actually, you need to unpack the printer driver for XP on the XP machine, then tell the printer wizard you have a disk, browse to the correct folder and install the driver. This is after finding the networked printer name on the network.
