Help with ASus A7V8X

Hello all, I am building a new computer, I bought the Asus A7V8X motherboard and a XP2700+, I have 2 512 chips of Geil 3200 Ram, I've installed everything but when I boot up my computer doesn't seem to post. I hear no beeping at all. I also get no display on my monitor, Ive tried 2 video cardsand Ive tried removing 1 of the 512 chips. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

update

Ok took it to a shop ended up I got sent a bad motherboard, so rather then waiting I bought a new one (same one) at the store and will be sending the bad one back. Seems there was a loose chip or something.
