I am using Windows XP and found that Windows deleted my files wrongly.
Few days ago, I deleted total 7 video files (eg. filename: 1.mpg, 2.mpg....7.mpg) in my external hard disk thru Windows Explorer. Today, when I try to play a video file (eg. filename: a.mpg) in the same external hard disk, the video shows the content of one of the deleted file. So I checked all other remaining video files in the hard disk, and the result is all 7 deleted video files are still in the hard disk (which means a.mpg became 1.mpg, b.mpg became 2.mpg etc).
Does anybody knows what's wrong with this?
Thanks!
