I recently turned on my Acer TravelMate 3000, which hadn't been working properly for a year, and now it's working fine.

My laptop, for some reason, doesn't have a Wireless LAN Driver installed, so I cant use the internet.

I when into the Acer eMangager, then the eRecovery, where I found help on how to install this Wireless LAN Driver (Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915ABG).

As you see in the pictures below, the instructions tell me to
Control Panel > System > Hardware > Devices Manager...

Then to go to Other Devices, but I cant see it anywhere.

I need to update my driver so I can download this driver!

Any help on how to find/get Other Devices showing would be greatly appreciated! Thanks:smile:

(p.s. My external CD drive doesn't work anymore)

Is the WLAN card securely installed in its slot? I ask because it doesn't seem be recognized in Device Manager. If it's connected well then it is possible you have a defective card or a bad WLAN slot.
